I'm half a whole
I'm a quarter man
I stand before you
But I'm insignificant
Look over me
I'd never tingle
Your closest parts
For me are single
Look over me
I'm no One now
I feel so small
Ashamed to be

Winter
The leaves frost over
The rabid cold bites skin
It's mid August
But the sun has no power here
Gray and blue haunt us
Frozen slabs of granite
Each breathe perilous
The earth gives way to darkness
Hibernation
In winter never ending
The ice ceases beating
The plants dry and wither
Sooner or later
All succumbs to winter

Watering hole
The watering hole is where the species congregate. It is where fertile flowers pollinate the air with pheromones. It is where I feel most removed from society. I can never compete with the verulante baboons pounding their chest and flashing their asses. I can never measure up to the towering beasts who sip the water here. These doe would never share a drop with me.

I know you're out there
You visit in sleep like a tooth fairy
You stalk chimneys, a saint in the night
You live somewhere between fairy rings and neverland
You work somewhere between daydreams and reality
I know you're real
You must be
My belief gives you life
I light your eyes
I imagine your smile
I live somewhere between your skin and heart
I work somewhere you can never be
I know you are more than a daydream
But why are you just a fantasy?

Make Believe
I know you're out there
You visit in sleep like a tooth fairy
You stalk chimneys, a saint in the night
You live somewhere between fairy rings and neverland
You work somewhere between daydreams and reality
I know you're real
You must be
My belief gives you life
I light your eyes
I imagine your smile
I live somewhere between your skin and heart
I work somewhere you can never be
I know you are more than a daydream
But why are you just a fantasy?

Equality is lie
Growing up I never bought into the whole "we are all special" mantra. I never believed we are all equal either. Equality is a lie. It's a warm and fuzzy hippie phrase used to make all the children feel like unique snowflakes. And by the way kids, that snowflake garbage is a lie too. Some snowflakes are alike.
I never bought into it because it was clear to me that some people have absolutely no redeeming qualities about them. Some kids are extremely intelligent and gifted, some are excellent athletes, some are talented in every way possible (those people you love to hate), and some stand in the corner and pick their nose the majority of the day. How can we all be equal when there are clear inequalities between person to person?
I believe in the equality of opportunity!
The kids who aren't as gifted are sometimes the most successful. Even though some people are more naturally gifted, those who aren't can overcome their inequalities through hard work and perseverance.
Why does any of this matter?
Political Correctness.
We live in a time where the truth is offensive to people. I have always been a seeker of truth. The truth is not always beautiful or kind. The truth is not always warm and fuzzy. But we cannot progress and move forward, we cannot solve the issues that we all face if we are willfully ignorant. The folks in my generation and younger are happy being lied to and pretending that you're Healthy at every size. I would rather know the truth about myself and the world than to be blind to it. The more overweight I become, the more I worry about the effect it will have on my health.
The majority of intelligent people accept that many of the differences in people and animals alike is the result of millions of years of evolution, and that animals and people are a product of the environments they adapted to survive in.
We accept the idea that people have different skin colors because of the levels of melanin in their skin. Peoples who evolved in warmer climates have more melanin to protect them from the sun and people in colder climates have less.
Why then, is it so hard to accept that there are other biological differences? It's not an accident that some of best runners in the world come from Kenya.
Where am I going with this?
The differences between men and women are the results of millions of years of biological evolution. There are many in western society today who would like to believe that there are absolutely no differences between men and women. They would like to believe that we are 100% equal and that any differences are merely a product of social and cultural expectations and gender norms.
How can such an intelligent group of people apply logic and science to nearly everything in the observable world, but act as though humans are somehow immune from the same effects?
Stop lying to yourselves.
There are some jobs and careers that men are much better at. There are some that women are much better at. Women have evolved to be good mothers, to keep their kids alive. They have an instinct that drives them to secure resources for themselves and their children. They are more in touch with their emotions (perhaps since they sometimes feel 15 different ones in any given hour). This is why they are so excellent in caregiver roles. Women perform excellently in health care, social work, psychology, therapy and any other roles that require human interaction. Men tend to perform better in math and science or roles where they work more with their hands. Is there any question as to why this is true? It makes logical sense.
Of course that doesn't mean there aren't exceptions. There are some women who are built like a truck and could be a much better construction worker than myself of many men I know. Just like there are some men who are very sensitive and in touch with their emotions. Some men tend have more feminine energy. But the exceptions to the rule don't negate them.
Perhaps if we continue to mate the way we are the future of humanity will look much different.
But breaking away from the instinctual nature and the biology that has made us such a successful species that has survived and reshaped the world is not an easy task. And there is a reason why we find certain qualities to be sexually attractive. We sit here and ignore reality while first world people are so privileged, that they have access to enough food to become morbidly overweight and then complain about it on the internet.
Stop lying to our kids. Teach them to nurture the talents they have. And if they have none, teach them to work hard. We are not all equal. We are not all special. Genetic variety is what makes us interesting and special.
And if a certain lady wants to keep telling me that men are women are equal. I'll let her arm wrestle me on the condition that she wins I'll shut my mouth on the topic.

Untitled, (From years ago time unknown)
This is some terrible shit I used to write years ago.
From man's hand came the divine
hand that marks time
Measures the invincible invisible
And the moments point quick and fade
Dying life, dried tears, goes another day
The years become minutes
A sick lord indeed
Racing onward to finish
Slave your way
To feed hungry mouths, and keep from the cold
The have you be the collar since you were born
Around your neck they hold
And as scars become memories
Wrinkles paint age on your skin
Remember to never give in
Though giving up may be the only way
To escape the rotten age
Life of suffering, till my peaceful grave
The mind scars as well
Lashed and battered
Torn, stabbed by those you once loved
Always a struggle, just for a satisfied mind
just for the indulgence of another's warmth
The gift of someone's lips
Smiling and sweating, laying up towards the ceiling
Losing all hope for love
The hand is moving, pointing
Watch it all ride by
Watch the fish float onshore
As the oceans dry
Waste all your time
Indulging before you die
No money
Love and nature I say
But it may be too late for me
Unless you can point a finger back
or come here to save me

A welcome fire on a cold day
The gusts were blowing
Our faces turned ice
Your hand was frozen
But so warm to touch
The leather burned cold
Though we were left buzzing
We were high, floating
From the heat just inside
Such a wonderful night
The strokes on canvass
Contrasted the world outside
But inside here, a little cabin
Your smile was fire
And your lips were flames
But I'd burn my mouth and blister
For another taste
Because next to you
I felt no cold
We make heat
You are bold
And as the gusts blow
Next to you is like paradise
Somewhere far
Somewhere warm

Torment
If you don't exist
Then neither should I
I'll enter Tartarus alone
And never see another night
Because the sun has no radiance
Without you, the atomic spark
Just a hollow disk in the sky
Giving life to the world
And warmth to all, but I
If you don't exist
All I breathe is monoxide
The atrophy burns my limbs
Till I lay down to die
If I turn to dirt now
Perhaps you'd exist in another life
If our souls return to stars
You could find me close to Mars
Waiting for my binary love
But If you don't exist
Then neither should I
And I will burn out
A shooting star in the sky
Tight Rope Walker
I'm a high rope walker
But I'm not an entertainer
I balance through day
And never dream at night
It's always one inch
To plummet
To fall inwards
Scuttling past the demons
The faces of those who inflict me
Their apparitions shake the line
And they grin as I slip
The rope has no end
And neither in front or behind
Can I see where it began
It seems freedom is clear
To let go and fall inwards
Into my darkness
Into sweet sleep
Perhaps I will live on as something more
Or just an occasional passing memory
But I'm not an entertainer
I balance through day
And never dream at night
It's always one inch
To plummet
To fall inwards
Scuttling past the demons
The faces of those who inflict me
Their apparitions shake the line
And they grin as I slip
The rope has no end
And neither in front or behind
Can I see where it began
It seems freedom is clear
To let go and fall inwards
Into my darkness
Into sweet sleep
Perhaps I will live on as something more
Or just an occasional passing memory

Walking dead
The corpses feed
The walking dead
They swallow preservation
That keeps the mold from the bread
Overworked organs overfill with poison
The heart pumps formaldehyde
Through pressured pipes
The extra pounds squeeze
The dead to the earth
But they keep walking
And talking
And working
Till they can no more
They call it life
But they never live

Loveguistics
You may not understand my words
But you can read my eyes
What is lost in translation
Can always be seen in my smile
Your hand in mine
My heart rises high
And it's a simple thing to say
What other words could phrase
That I'm lost
I'm falling in love
And no language can separate

Against the grain
Just like you can't survive off the welfare of others forever, we must eventually produce our own wealth, you cannot survive off the social approval of others. You must Find your own happiness and set your own standards. We live in a society where everyone's goal is to impress their friends and neighbors. Stop trying to emulate others and fit into a mold that pop culture designs for you. Choose your own clothes. Date a woman that YOU find beautiful. Choose a career that you enjoy. And stop worrying so much about what everyone else thinks. Be you. Those who would judge you based on these things are not people worth trying to impress.
